And beg in their sweetness to
Be released from the words that ramble across
The pages of the universe.
These steps will lead to my heart,
A dark and hidden room
Barred and locked triple-tight.
A room that never will see your light.
For you are hidden in a veil
A veil of stars, a caul of moons
That steal your brilliance for their own
And reflect it across the dimensions.
Reflected across all the worlds
Of time and space
To glint in my eyes
And brighten my face with a smile.
I know not where you are,
Nor the curve of your face.

is this: that dying is what the living do,

and that dead dogs are those who do not know
